大雪山国立公園に至る旭川と層雲峡を結ぶ国道39号線の中間に位置し、コースからは北海道の屋根大雪山連峰が眺望でき、又眼下には石狩川の清流がある丘陵地帯に造成されたコースです。北海道らしくフェアウェイも広く、また、樹木でセパレートされたコースは、設計者 安田 幸吉氏の巧みなレイアウトに生かされた同氏の傑作の一つとなっています。
