眺望がよく解放感あふれる丘陵コース。バックからは7000ヤードを超す。全体に距離があり、豪快なショットが楽しめる。
各ホールとも異なった戦略性があり攻略のしがいがある。12番は正面に広がる海と函館山に向かって打っていく。
ＩＰからの先はフェアウェイが２段になっており、それがグリーンまで続く。右サイドから攻めるのがベストルート。
15番はティ左から沢が大きく切れ込み、その先グリーン手前100ヤードには谷が横切っており２オンを狙うか手前に刻むか判断を迫られる。
