ロケーションは人気別荘地帯に隣接し、晴天時は富士山や伊豆諸島を一望できます。
コースは名匠富沢誠造氏設計による1970年開場で、なだらかな丘陵地に位置し、距離はそれほど長くありませんが、小さなグリーンと風のハザードが意外とスコアメイクを難しくしています。
ゴルフ以外にも、観光地館山は花、サーフィン、釣り、旨い地魚等自然の魅力満載の「パワースポット」です。
近場の北条海岸からのダイヤモンド富士（5月中旬、7月下旬/日没）は感動モノで、当日は多くのカメラマンで賑います。
また毎年8月8日は「館山観光まつり館山湾花火大会」が催され、夏の風物詩となっております。
