長崎カンツリー倶楽部は昭和30年開場の県内で2番目に古い老舗コースです。
三菱の４代目社長 岩崎小弥太が、昭和初期に拓いた「長崎ゴルフ倶楽部」（戦争にて消滅）をルーツとし、
昭和３０年１月２３日に開場しました。当時の長崎財界の中心人物達が市を動かし、官民一体となり創ったと
されます。手作りのゴルフ場であり、彼等の中には自らトラックを動かした強者も居たと言われています。
こうして出来たゴルフ場は今も尚、アットホームな雰囲気を残し、多くのメンバーに愛され続けています。
