フェアウェイとあまり高低差のない池が巧みに取り入れられ、点在する５７個のグラスバンカーと７１個のサンドバンカーが、アメリカンタイプの雰囲気を十分にかもし出している。
パッティングクオリティの高い、ペンクロスベントによる平均７５０平方メートルのグリーンは、 ２段グリーン（９ホール）や大きなマウンドにより攻略にはティショットからのルーティングが 必要である。そのため四季を通じて緑美しく配置されたティグラウンドからは、ターゲットであるグリーンを１６ホールで見渡すことができるよう設計されている。また、すべてのハザードもプレーヤーから見えるように配されているが、これもＪ・ニクラウスの設計理念の１つである。
