霞ヶ浦湖畔の丘陵地に展開する、デービット・トーマスとセベ・バレステロスの共同設計監修により誕生した18ホールのコースです。
高低差20メートルと全体にフラットで、各ホールとも自然の松林で完全にセパレートされ、英国風の趣をかもし出しています。本格的なベントのワングリーンはアンジュレーションがあり、繊細なパッティング・タッチが要求されます。コース6番と18番にからむ池は、景観の美しさとプレーの厳しさが調和した、戦略性に富むホールを演出します。 （1988年～1992年・1993年～1995年 男子プロトーナメント開催）
