ユーアイゴルフクラブ宗像は2000年に開業した福岡県宗像市に位置するオーシャンビューのゴルフ場です。
6,906ヤード18ホールのコースは玄界灘を一望できるダイナミックな環境の中にあり、電磁誘導乗用カートで回る事ができる為、全組セルフプレーが可能です。
車でのアクセスは九州自動車道古賀IC又は若宮ICから約18kmの距離です。電車ではJR鹿児島線東郷駅で下車し、タクシーで約10分ほどで到着します。
コースはアウトコースが玄界コース、インコースが津屋崎コースと名付けられ、ところどころタフなプレーが必要とされます。アウトの玄界コースは、2打目以降が鍵になるコースが多くあります。ドッグレッグで始まり、打ち上げになるため距離が長く感じる3番4番、バンカーが点在する6番、グリーンの周囲をバンカーと池が囲む8番などが特徴的なコースとなっています。インの津屋崎コースでもバンカーが所々に控えているホールが多く、特に17番ホールは距離が短いながらもバンカーと池が待ち受けるため、ツーオンにするか、ワンオン狙いをするかの選択も重要です。
レストランでは九州ならではの食材を活かした料理が楽しめ、人気の高いメニューは味噌汁やサラダなどがセットになった海鮮丼です。
パッティンググリーンやアプローチやバンカーショットの調整ができる練習場があり、入念に練習できることも嬉しいポイントとなっています。
