９ホールながらロングホールも備えた新ゴルフ場「クイーンズトラップゴルフコース」。
県内の他のゴルフ場と比べると斬新な名前だが、これが実に言い得て妙なネーミングなのだ。直訳すると「女王の罠」。見た目にはとても美しいが、その陰には、クリークやバンカーなど手ごわいトラップが潜んでいる。まさにきれいなバラにはトゲがあるというわけだ。そんな女王をイメージしたネーミングやロゴは、女性の持つ雰囲気を表現した艶やかなもの。
沖縄本島中部に位置し、リゾートホテルにも近く近隣には極東最大の米軍嘉手納基地があります。コースの特徴は、飛ばす人には厳しく、距離は出ないけどまっすぐ飛ぶ人にはいい結果のでる可能性のあるコースなので、女性や年配の方でも楽しめます。全9ホールですが、2ラウンド目には全部ティーが違うなど18ホールのラウンドも飽きずに楽しめます。ショートでは物足りないが、ロングにはまだ早いといった方にはうってつけです。
